It's a beautiful blue 2002 cross country Volvo with leather interior, heated seats, a sunroof, and power everything. Oh and it has a CD player! :-D Yes, I'm well aware it's a bit silly to be excited over a CD player considering the vast technology we have in this day in age. None the less I am stoked! I've never had a car with a CD player before so I'm thrilled, tickled even. lol
Also, my car has four wheel drive. Meaning during the randomly crazy winter storms(Snowmagedon) I won't have to worry so much about getting stuck. How nice is that?
Anywho, I just have one dilemma. What should I name it?
I named my first car, white Toyota Corolla, Tink because I love Tinkerbell and it just fit. My second car, sticking with the Peter Pan theme, I named Rufio. Rufio's name came about because my friend Kelly and I went to a pirate corn maze shortly after I bought the car. I didn't know what to name it but wanted something from Peter Pan and with the pirate theme of that day. I had already named my GPS Peter cause my first GPS, Wendy, was stolen. Ironically enough Wendy was stolen out of my car Tink. Haha get it? Cause Tink doesn't like Wendy in the movie. :-P Anyway, I couldn't reuse any of those names cause that's just seems wrong to me. But I did feel like the car was a guy. So Kelly started rattling off names. First she said, "Hook" but I thought the car had to be red for that and mine was blue. Then she said "Smee", but I jsut didn't like Smee. I think she said one or two others but they weren't right either. Then she paused and turned to look at me and said, "Rufio..Rufio..RuFiOOOOOO!!!". I was like "That's it! That's my car.". And of course, like in the movie Hook, Rufio's life was cut short. :-(
My new car has quite a bit to live up to eh? lol But I need a name for it. I just don't know though. Should I try to stick with Peter Pan again or should I finally cut the cord to that and start fresh?
Hmmm....decisions decisions.
Let me know what you think?
